Yandangshan Tea Farm

Established in May 2000, Yandangshan Tea Farm is located on Xialingyan Road in the heart of Yandangshan, one of China’s first batch of National Key Scenic Areas. It is a newly established, high-standard private agricultural enterprise in Wenzhou that integrates production, processing, and trade. The farm has 135 hectares of direct cultivation land, with 40 hectares certified as organic tea by the Organic Tea Research and Development Center (OTRDC) of the Tea Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (organic tea certification number: TRDC-123L-2003). The tea plantations are distributed among the mist-shrouded peaks at an altitude of 1,000 meters, where light and heat complement each other throughout the four seasons. Hence, the legend of monkeys picking tea. The tea trees are nourished year-round by rain and dew, absorbing nutrients from the crevices of the rocks, resulting in an exceptional aroma. They were once tribute tea during the Ming Dynasty, as described in a poem by Zhang Yuanying of the Ming Dynasty: “The spring tea of Yanshan tastes like that of the immortals, picked just before the Qingming rain. Precious dew-kissed buds are reserved for the imperial court; I caress the stone cauldron to taste the fresh spring water.” The natural ecological environment is truly a “Shangri-La.” The facility features a villa-style, high-standard, stunning factory building covering an area of 1,200 square meters, with a 25-cubic-meter cold storage unit and 100% mechanization for tea processing. The flagship products are the “Yan Baiyun” brand series, including “Yandang Baiyun Tea (Yandang Maofeng)” and “ Yandang Yunwu Tea,” are derived from traditional Yandang varieties, high-quality early-harvest Yandang tea varieties, and superior strains such as Yingshuang. Meticulously crafted through a combination of traditional handcrafted methods and modern techniques, these teas feature tightly rolled leaves, a lustrous green hue, a pale green infusion, an intoxicating aroma that lingers, and a rich, mellow flavor with a sweet aftertaste. They have long been renowned as the finest among Yandang teas. However, to safeguard human health and preserve the harmonious relationship between humanity and nature, we have implemented a “green organic” technology and brand strategy.
