Among the Three Wonders of Yandangshan (Lingfeng, Lingyan, and Dalongqu), Lingyan occupies a central position and is regarded as the “crown jewel” of Yandangshan. The Yuan Dynasty literary figure Li Xiaoguang once remarked, “For sheer rugged beauty, none surpasses Lingfeng; for majestic grandeur, none surpasses Lingyan.” This perfectly captures the aesthetic distinction between the “Two Lings.” Centered around the ancient Lingyan Temple, the area is flanked by the Pingxia Ridge, which shimmers like a brocade of clouds, while the Tianzu and Zhanqi cliffs rise on either side, standing in stark contrast to one another, their sheer walls soaring thousands of feet into the sky. Their “massive and imposing” presence creates an atmosphere of solemnity; when one stands amidst them, all worldly worries instantly fade away.

Bus Information
Buses are available from both Yandang Town, where the scenic area is located, and the scenic area visitor center. Yandangshan Tourist Bus (currently free of charge) runs from the train station to the Dalongqu Scenic Area, with the following stops: Train Station – Yandangshan Station – Tourist Hub – Xianglingtou – Chaoyang Cave Parking Lot – Lingfeng Scenic Area – Sanze Waterfall Scenic Area – Fang Cave – Dalongqu Scenic Area.
